Dave Chalker on Epic D&D

Recently Dave "The Game" Chalker, my friend and editor of the Ennie-award-winning gaming blog, Critical Hits spent an hour talking about the conclusion of his epic-tier campaign. As you can imagine, Dave runs a deep and rich game and has a lot of insights into the epic tier experience.

For a sneak peek, here are Dave's biggest tips for running an epic tier game:
- Take a hard-line stance on game-breaking stuff.
- Go big or go home.
- Don't be afraid to pull punches. Throw everything at them.
- Emphasize the epic nature of the tier. Five epic-level demons shouldn't feel like five goblins.
